After School Programs

The day does not have to end at 2:35. Between flexible aftercare and a rotating lineup of enrichment classes, your child can keep playing, exploring, and learning right here on campus.

Two ways to spend the afternoon at Del Mar Pines: supervised aftercare for the days you need a little more time, and seasonal enrichment classes for the days your child wants to try something new.

Flexible Supervision

Aftercare

Aftercare gives families flexible supervision once the school day ends. Students are looked after for play, homework, or both, in a calm and familiar setting, so you have the breathing room you need to get through your afternoon.

  • No prepayment or advance registration is required.
  • If unforeseen circumstances prevent pickup following our dismissal, your child will automatically be enrolled in aftercare until you arrive.
  • At pickup, let an aftercare teacher know you have arrived and sign your child out on the iPad.

Enrichment Classes

Del Mar Pines offers a wide variety of after-school enrichment programs, built to fit busy parents and curious students alike. Classes run seasonally across fall, winter, and spring, so there is always a fresh reason to stay a little longer.

When
Classes begin at 2:45 p.m. (3:15 p.m. on Wednesdays) and last approximately 1 hour.
Enrollment
Register online and pay through Parent Locker.
Availability
Class offerings vary each term based on vendor and instructor availability, as well as classroom allocation.
Good to know: Because classes are seasonal and depend on available space and instructors, the exact roster changes from term to term. Check with the front office for the current season’s schedule.
