Del Mar Pines Summer Day Camp is open to all children in our community, including elementary students who don’t attend Del Mar Pines during the school year. For over thirty years, our summer programs have sparked learning through a mix of academic and enrichment classes.
Parents can design a stimulating, creative summer that fits their schedule and their child’s unique interests, with morning and afternoon programs Monday through Thursday. Science, drama, math, art, writing, technology, there’s something for everyone. Space is limited!

General camp information.
Students may either bring a snack from home or purchase a snack pass. One snack pass is $24 and is good for one snack each day of camp, twelve snacks in all. Passes are redeemed during recess, or after camp for children enrolled in aftercare, and additional passes may be purchased if you would like your child to have more than one snack. Passes are purchased online when you register.
Snacks are an assortment of power foods that fuel fun and learning, focused on whole foods with protein, fiber, and healthy fats. Availability may vary.
We offer engaging after-school care with flexible options to fit your family’s needs.
- Full session package: $660 for 36 hours of care, covering the entire session
- Drop-in rate: $25 per hour, billed in 15-minute increments at $6.25 per quarter hour
- Activities include free play, arts and crafts, and supervised sports such as kickball, tag, soccer, dodgeball, and basketball, plus quiet time with G-rated Disney+ shows from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m.
- A late fee of $1.00 per minute applies after 5:30 p.m.
- The after-camp program requires a minimum daily enrollment of 10 students to operate
Camp FAQs.
Students attending our morning sessions arrive between 8:45 and 9:00 a.m.
Students attending afternoon classes only arrive five minutes prior to their class start time.
Students in classes that end at 12:00 noon must be picked up at noon. Students in classes that end at 1:30 or 2:30 p.m. must be picked up at those times, and no more than five minutes after the end of class. At 2:35 p.m., your student will be enrolled in aftercare.
Students enrolled in both morning and afternoon classes stay on campus from 12:00 to 12:30 p.m. for lunch and supervised play.
